description

This new facility to the PAM Health Rehabilitation Company has 42 beds to serve the area residents. The layout and design of this facility is intended to help the patient heal and prepare them for re-entering daily living.

The facility is equipped with rehabilitation services for inpatient and outpatient clients. Each of the 42 beds has a private room and bathroom for the comfort and convenience of its occupant. Views to the scenery of sunny beautiful Florida and access to natural daylight are provided from each room through generous windows. There is a large community dining room with extensive windows where patients and visitors may dine. The patient wings have large daylit spaces where patients can entertain visitors or watch TV.

This facility’s inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation Gymnasiums look out from tall windows to the Healing Garden. The Healing Garden allows rehabilitating patients a safe supervised place to practice becoming mobile again using the garden’s stairs, covered platform, and concrete ramp. Two artificial turf areas and meandering paths help patients to learn to walk again on the various surface terrains provided, including stone, brick pavers, asphalt, and wood deck. Several raised faux-wood planters allow places for patients to experience working in the soil with plants.
